We have even awarded ProCare's 2016 Quality Award.

MASS, LTC and help with medicines

We provide special focused services for those who have:
  • a lot of medicines to take, often at different times in the day.
  • have demanding medicine schedules
  • have one or more health complaints or Long term Conditions (LTCs)
  • have difficulty remembering to take their medicines.
With your agreement and permission, our pharmacists can:
  • confidentially review your medicines history and discuss this with you.
  • speak to your doctor about any issues that arise.
You may qualify for some funding support for your LTC. If so, you need to register with us for the MASS service then we can then tailor our support to your specific needs.

We specialise in Long Term Conditions, or LTC. If you or your child will be taking medications for a long period of time, often the rest of life, then come and talk to us.
Many struggle to keep to the medication regime, missing out or making mistakes in taking their medications. And the consequence is that you could be getting less health from all your efforts.
We can gave a confidential chat to help you organise or make the most of your medications. There are lots of ways we can help. Just ask.
Our shop at Waimuku Pharmacy Silver Fern
Aside from medications, our Silver Fern shop is full of other products. These include:
  • vitamins, and other health supplements.
  • special products for your baby and child.
  • hair colouring, makeup & beauty products.
  • hand, face and body creams.
  • cough, cold medications.
  • gifts, travel items.
  • glasses, including sunglasses.
  • wraps to hold an injured finger, wrist, etc.
and much more. If you want something special just ask.
Your rights
We are committed to "your rights when receiving health or disability services". If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact the pharmacist in charge or a staff member. We have a formal internal procedure to address your concerns, which we will always attempt to resolve. If you wish you can email us,
If you are still dissatisfied, you may then contact the Health & Disability Commissioner or the Waitemata District Health Board (tel. (09) 486-8900).
