What is a Medico Pak?

A Medico Pak is a special disposable pack with the correct doses of your medications blister-packed and marked with the time (breakfast, lunch, dinner or bedtime) and they day they need to be taken. They can be labelled weekly or monthly. It is prepared here at the pharmacy.

Removing your medications from the Pak

To remove the medications in a blister (containing a 'dose'), simply tear along the perforations. Then peel off the backing, starting from the marked corner.


Alternatively use a blunt object like a teaspoon to pierce the backing. Very little pressure is needed to break the seal.
Also Pak Poppers are available in-store.

NEVER pop the medications out through the backing of the Medico Pak. You could lose them, drop them on the floor, or even crush them accidentally.
