Palliative & Terminal Care services

Advanced care for palliative & terminal services

Picture
We have a caring team dedicated to providing Advanced Care services for those involved with palliative and terminal care. These usually apply to the aged or those with significant medical burdens, and those looking after them.
  • Palliative care services are given to relieve or sooth the symptoms of a disease or disorder without attempting to effect a cure.
  • Terminal care services are for those whose time of death is approximately known.

What we can do

We can provide a full and comprehensive pharmacy support during these most difficult times.
This means we can provide you with:
  • medicines and pharmaceuticals, in a form that most suits your needs;
  • daily, or more, contact if required;
  • close and regular liaison with your care providers such as your GP, Health Care team, and any others;
  • assistance to navigate through the health system, especially the paperwork, so you can relieve some of the stress;
  • provide Aseptic Dispensing services, such a prepared syringe for the Niki T34 and the Graseby syringe drivers.
    These are a small, portable, battery-operated devices that administer medicines subcutaneously over a given time period, usually 24 hours. They can be used short or long-term. A prepared syringe is attached to the driver, then the syringe plunger is then moved forward at an controlled rate to deliver a consistent amount of medication.
    An vital factor is the accurate preparation of the syringe so it contains the exact amount of medications, in the correct volume, and is guaranteed sterile.

Contact us to find out how we can make your life easier as a patient or caregiver.

A doctor's prescription is required.
And there is a charge for the service.

Your privacy is assured.
